Something The Feds don't want you to know
Have you ever run out of stamps and you gotta send a letter to your buddy up the street? Well here's your solution, and it won't cost you a penny. All you need to do is switch your buddy's address with the return address...so that means put your buddy's name in the upper left corner and yours in the middle of the envelope...oh and forget the stamp because you won't be needing one. Drop it in the box and....Woops did that get sent to the person you wanted to send it to without a stamp? This is the only scam I know and I have yet to try it! Rhinosaur gig on the 30th....Got 3 tickets lined up to sell to liquor vendors....it's a good barter to get them to go to our gigs! | | Friday, April 16th, 2004 | | 2:40 pm |
Power of the Windmill
Wether it's Holland or Palm Springs....people have been praising the great benefits of these powerful tools. All that energy comes from spinning around like that? If I were to spin my arms around in a similar fashion....would I get a charge out of that? You bet your lunch box! Just keep spinning....that's all!! It reminds me of the story of the frog in the frying pan with the pat of butter....he just kept flapping his arms, flapping his arms...eventually he got out!! Moral of the story: Cheap gold turns brown chest hair grey! | | Tuesday, April 13th, 2004 | | 5:06 pm |
Meet Me at the Wizard Bar
I worked the grocery store this morning...got home around 9:30 and zonked out until I suddenly woke up late for work around 1. Got into work at close to 2 and settled in at my seat. Around 2 and a half everybody gathered for a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" I decided to sit this one out and snuck in a couple bags of cracker jacks later on. Then at around 3 and a half I met up with Parker Grayson (Castle Numbskull?) and we headed out back for a little guitar playing. He played a couple tunes, and I enjoyed noodling over the chords. After work, it's off to give a guitar lesson...followed up by a practice get-together with Biz Markle of Rhinosaur. Side note: I've started eating raw potatos recently....Boy are those powerful! Oh yeah, meet me at the Wizard Bar. | | Monday, April 12th, 2004 | | 4:10 pm |
Celebrity Connections
Question for Dunric: What to write? Many thoughts pass through the mind daily...which ones shall be written? I remembered one thing I like to do: Use celebrity names in a sentence to make up a complete phrase... So, let me Harvey Keitel you something. There's this girl I Tommy Lasorda like and as it turns out, she is a MIME!! So, out of curiosity, I went and saw her perform....it was so funny I Edward James Almos peed my pants! You know crazy stuff like that. I'm sure there are more, you must be creative and dig for them! | | Friday, April 9th, 2004 | | 2:11 pm |
For the 'Time Being'
Well, Lord Elric and I have been involved in deep discussion about the 'Time Being'. In fact, he is the being of time and should be addressed in this fashion. For instance when you visit the doctor "Why don't you have a seat for the 'Time Being'...he will be with you shortly" or when your mother says "Let's open up that window for the 'Time Being'...he's joining us for dinner" See, for most they do not realize that they are even speaking of this being, and should be well aware of this....for there can only be one being of time! So, for the 'Time Being' let's just keep in mind that Time has a way of taking Time...and Time is on my mind...Yes it is. | | Friday, April 2nd, 2004 | | 2:33 pm |
Noodles McIntosh
Couple of questions I'd like to have answered first off: I wonder if Heaven's got Gepetto? I can row a boat, canoe? Statement: Don't accept 'sham'poo....DEMAND THE REAL THING!! Joke: Pete and Repeat were in a boat....who fell out? Truth: You can't have everything....where would you put it? Mind Bender: If a water tight bear knocked over a tree...who's on first?
